A little one just popped up over the ridge. E started at each other for a minute before it ran.

Taken by John. From John: Yup, it was a real struggle to get here into my carrier. She's as big or bigger than any buck I ever shot. The guy at Grizzly's said she was at least 3-1/2 years old. She was totally white faced so I knew she wasn't a fawn.

Brandon reported a little four point from the loop stand. “ Hard to see but there is a little 4pt. by me. Could have shot about 10 times with all the opportunities it gave me but I let it go. Really nice tall tines with the 4pts. Split up top. This one next year will be a great deer if it makes it. Very tall tines with a basket 4 up top. Way over the ears.... just still inside of them.

Good size 4pt. Great potential for the following season.

Decent size. Ran across the front of the woods into the north gully. Was in a hurry.

Where the trails come together up front on the lip of the South Gully. Could see the rack. He went west along the south gully rim. Update: I believe I saw him again as I was approaching the Puddles. Just saw the tail.

John: Yes, momma came out. Not sure if I hit her. Getting down. Update: Deer recovered. Button Buck.

John: Little deer out in front of me about 50 yds. Little pug nosed fawn.

Looks like they were coming off the ridge. Maybe John pushed them down. Too far away and they were moving!

In the middle of our woods between Shorty and the Ridge. I was walking out the main trail. This could’ve been a button buck. There were probably more that I didn’t see.

They are behind these branches so I don't have a shot at the moment, but if they come closer or move a bit more I'll have an opportunity. Then: There was a bigger one but 4-6 of them were facing me. This was the only 1/4 towards deer and it was offhand from like 250. I'll take it

By Mitch. Mature doe. Mitch: “Deer dropped, both front legs and heart busted up”

Brandon: “Jumped one. Right by the south gully stand. No idea what it was, it was on the ridge and I was in the creek coming up to it. No shot.”

Matt: “Jumped one hanging out behind the middle stand. It went north.”

Bruce: Just as I broke over the Ridge on the Main trail, Assuming that Brandon pushed them up there from below.

Brandon: “Just about in the loop. There was a tail way far away towards Brogans but I don't think it noticed me. Hopefully it loops back around. I have no idea what it was.”

Brandon:” I just jumped on. Small doe. I decided not to shoot. Went towards John's north stand. Its alone. It circled back and I got a better look. No buttons, just a very very small doe.”

Brandon: “We [Brandon and Mitch] opened the door to camp and it ran away. But if it stopped before it went into the north, I was going to take a shot, it just never did “

Unknown sex. Counts as a doe.

Brandon. They were coming to him but spooked.

In the far corner of the field. I don’t think Mitch saw them. They spooked when he opened the door. A bit later Mitch saw the smaller one running west in the back field.

Probably one of the two that John jumped, but don't know for sure.

John jumped two on his way in to the south gully stand.

Brandon. 3 doe just came from behind me at the worst possibly angle and headed towards the back 33.... no shot. They were all good size.

Brandon. Just an outline coming off the hill.

Tiny four point. Passed it up.

A little buck maybe a six point standing in the brush on the north side.

Little buck just above where I jumped the previous two. It looked like a fork horn. I’m thinking there were deer laying all over the middle of our woods on top. I only saw three of them.

Walking back to camp. Just above the ridge stand.

Just came by on the run. Waiting for the buck (maybe)

I finally saw some deer from the Ridge. Two just came by at a fairly good clip and right behind them were the tiniest two dogs I've ever seen. Now it sounds like someone is calling the dogs.

Seven on the Main Trail between the Ridge and Shorty, just as I passed the pines. Couldn’t see a Buck but I imagine there was at least one in the bunch. The rut must be on because the area they were in had the pungent odor.

Jim says he’s heading toward me.

Calling it a spike. Stayed in the woods and went into the gully.

Very big doe moved across the corner and onto the north gully.

Jim just reported a small Buck coming through the main woods. It ran back toward the Ridge.

Reported by Mitch. He saw a tail while walking on to check his Shorty camera.

Jim reported a buck chasing a doe and then later another 3 doe in the Loop. Not sure what time so we'll call it Noon.

There were 3 big one's and 4 little ones that came out of the North Gully in the NW corner of the Front Field.

Two little ones greeted me as I was arriving back at Camp. They came out of the North Gully just behind the yard.

John harvested the first doe of the season!

Calling it a doe. Saw the tail going into the woods from the Camp yard.

Two came out of the North Gully and three came out of the South Field corn. Two of the latter three were spike bucks.
